Anvil Corporation, (“Anvil” or “we”) respects its consumers’ (“your”) privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”). This Policy outlines the type of personal information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you utilize Anvil’s services as well as our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and/or disclosing that information.
This Policy is also a notice to California residents, to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) and any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this Policy and notice.

Persons Under the Age of 16
Anvil’s website is not intended for use by persons under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. No one under 16 may provide any information on this website or through any of its features, register on the website, make any purchases through the website, use any of the interactive or public comment features of this website, or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, email address, or any screen or username you may have. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 16 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 16, please contact Anvil. We do not sell any personal information, including the personal information of individuals under the age of 16.
We understand that you might provide personal information relating to children under 16, in such a case, those children are afforded all of the rights as outlined herein and verifiable requests to the personal information must be made by a person with the legal authority to act on their behalf.
Information We Collect About You
This Policy applies to personal information we collect:
- Through any interactions with the Anvil website;
- In email, text, and other electronic messages between you and Anvil; and
- Through desktop or mobile applications
Personal information is information that “reasonably identifies, relates to, describes, references, is capable of being associated with, could reasonably be linked to, directly or indirectly, a particular individual or device.” Anvil takes a comprehensive approach to what constitutes personal information and consumers may also rely on the applicable regulatory definition of personal information in interpreting this Policy.
Personal information does not include:
- Publicly available information from government records;
- Information received from the business relationship from which no individual can be directly or indirectly linked;
- Health or medical information covered by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and any comparable state regulation (as applicable); or
- Personal information covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), the Driver’s Privacy Protection Act of 1994, or any comparable state regulations (as applicable)
Anvil has not sold any consumer personal information through the methods described within the past twelve (12) months. Anvil has however, collected and processed the following categories of personal information within the past twelve (12) months.

Even when we do not retain such personal information, it still must be transmitted to our servers initially and stored long enough to process.

- To present Anvil and its services to you;
- To provide you with information, products, or services that you request from us;

- To fulfill or meet the reason you provided the personal information, including integrated third party products. For example, if you share your name and contact information to request a price quote or submit a query about other transactions or services, we will use that personal information to respond to your inquiry (automated or otherwise). If you provide your personal information to purchase a product or service, we will use that personal information to process your payment and facilitate delivery. We may also save your personal information to facilitate orders of additional users or process decommissions.
- To provide, support, personalize, develop, and enhance the Anvil customer experience.
- To create, maintain, customize, and secure your account with us.
- To process your requests, purchases, transactions, and payments and prevent transactional fraud.
- To provide you with support and to respond to your inquiries, including to investigate and address your concerns and monitor and improve our responses.
- To help maintain the safety, security, and integrity of Anvil products and services, databases and other technology assets, and business.
- For testing, research, analysis, and product development, including to develop and improve existing Anvil services or create new Anvil services.
- To respond to law enforcement requests and as required by applicable law, court order, or governmental regulation.
Additionally, we may use information that we collect about you in order to allow third-party vendors, including Google, to show you ads on sites across the internet (e.g., remarketing).
Disclosure of Your Information
Sales of Your Personal Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent users’ personal information and we have not done so during the preceding twelve (12) months.
Disclosures of Personal Information for a Business Purpose
Anvil may disclose your personal information to a third party for a business purpose or when they integrate with Anvil services through Application Programming Interface (API). When we disclose personal information for a business purpose, such third party has entered a contract with either you or Anvil that describes the purpose and requires the recipient to both keep the personal information confidential and not use it for any purpose except performing the contract.
If Anvil is the contracting party, we require these third parties to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.
If you are the contracting party, it is your responsibility to understand the purpose of the transfer and ensure that the party is managing the personal information it receives according to your direction.
In the previous twelve (12) months, Anvil may have disclosed the following categories of personal information for a business purpose: identifiers; personal information categories; protected classification characteristics; internet or other similar network activity; geolocation data; professional or employment related information; and equipment information.
Anvil may use aggregated information about its users without restriction.
Storage of Your Personal Information
Your personal information will be stored for so long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes stated in this Policy, unless a longer storage period is required by law. Generally, this means that we store your personal information for as long as you are working with Anvil.
Your Rights and Choices Over How We Use and Disclose Your Personal Information
You have the right to request that Anvil discloses certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal information over the past twelve (12) months. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request (see Exercising Access, Data Portability, and Deletion rights, below), we will disclose to you:
- The categories of personal information we collected about you.
- The categories of sources for the personal information we collected about you.
- Our business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling that personal information.
- The categories of third parties with whom we share that personal information.
- The specific pieces of personal information we collected about you (also called a data portability request).
- If we sold or disclosed your personal information for a business purpose, two separate lists disclosing:
- Sales, identifying the personal information categories that each category of recipient purchased, if any; and
- Disclosure for a business purpose, identifying the personal information categories that each category of recipient obtained.

Exercising Your Access Rights
To exercise the access, data portability, and deletion rights described above, please submit a verifiable request to us by either:
- Calling us at 360.671.1450; or
- Filling out our Opt Out Form at the bottom of the page
Only you, or person registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child, if applicable.
You may only make a verifiable consumer request for access or data portability twice within a twelve (12) month period, per individual. The verifiable consumer request must:
- Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative; and
- Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us. We will only use the information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.
Deletion Request Rights
You have the right to request that Anvil delete any of your personal information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request, we will delete, and direct our service providers to delete, your personal information from our records, unless an exemption applies.
We may deny your deletion request if retaining the personal information is necessary for us or our third party services provider(s) to:
- Complete the transaction for which we collected the personal information, provide a good or service that you requested, take actions reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise perform our contract with you.
- Detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, or prosecute those responsible for such activities.
- Debug products to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality.
- Exercise free speech, ensure the right of another consumer to exercise their free speech rights, or exercise another right provided for by law
- Comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act (Cal. Penal Code § 1546 et. seq.).
- Engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest that adheres to all other applicable ethics and privacy laws, when the information’s deletion may likely render impossible or seriously impair the research’s achievement, if you previously provided informed consent.
- Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with customer expectations based on your relationship with us.
- Comply with a legal obligation.
- Make other internal and lawful uses of that information that are compatible with the context in which you provided it.
Response Timing and Format
We endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time, we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.
We will deliver our written response by mail or electronically.
Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding the verifiable consumer request’s receipt. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. For data portability requests, we will select a format to provide your personal information that is readily usable and should allow you to transmit the information from one entity to another entity without hindrance.
We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.
Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Anvil will not sell your personal data. So, we do not offer an opt-out to the sale of personal data.
Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any personal information rights. Unless permitted by applicable regulations, we will not:
- Deny you goods or services;
- Charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through granting discounts or other benefits, or imposing penalties;
- Provide you a different level or quality of goods or services; or
- Suggest that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.
Data Security
We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure.
The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our website, if applicable, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our website. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the website.
Changes to Our Privacy Policy
Anvil reserves the right to amend this Policy at our discretion and at any time. When we make changes to this Policy, we will post the updated notice and the notice’s effective date on our website. Your continued use of Anvil’s website following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
